You can put this in the open event of the floating point window:
dim n as NSPanelMBS = self.NSPanelMBS
if n<>Nil then
n.becomesKeyOnlyIfNeeded = true
end if
this may help to keep the focus away from the floating palette unless you use a
textfield there.
