Dear MBS users, I'm wondering how is this possible:
Using WinUSBNotificationMBS and MacUSBNotificationMBS, I'm able to get the serial number of USB devices like USB pens. On Mac, properties dictionary of the DeviceAdded event of MacUSBNotificationMBS always returns what is expected, the SN (unless, of course, the device does not have any SN). On Windows, the DeviceAdded event gets a parameter, Name, where SN usually appaers. Unfortunately, with the same keys used on Macintosh and returning a SN, Name does not contain SN, whereas it does with others keys. Could there be different locations where the SN is stored? If so, how could I find SN on Windows, given that this SN exists and is returned on Mac?
