Thanks Christian, Actually, I tried WinUSBDeviceMBS, looping for USB devices and comparing PID and VID until they are identical to those returned in Name paremeter of WinUSBNotificationMBS. I then can get the corresponding SN.
It's fast and simple enough to match my need, given that should be a rare situation.
