I am trying to use AUPlayerMBS as a substitute for the QuickTime plugin, but
have run into a problem.

AUPlayerMBS appears to load a sound file into memory when it is loaded. As a
result, the app quickly runs out of memory (hits 3GB) if many sound files are
opened. This was not an issue with the QuickTime plugin.

I need to pre-open sound files when the app starts, so they are ready for
immediate play when selected by the user.

Any suggestions?
