Interesting. I had posted a comment in the
aforementioned podcaster’s blog about catching the MbUnit bug. He
replied via email asking whether it was actively developed. I informed him that
indeed it was, but it unfortunately must’ve been right after the podcast
was recorded and too late to make a difference. MbUnit is most definitely not “abandonware”.
You’d think after all the promotion I do on my blog, that point would get
across. MbUnit kicks the llamas ass! It’s unfortunately like the Rodney Dangerfield
of unit testing tools, it gets no respect. But the truth is that it is really
the Robin Williams, Will Ferrell, Jon Stewart, and Steven Colbert of unit
testing tools. Sorry for the weird analogy, I’ve been up too late.
Phil From: It's been brought to my attention this morning that a recent podcast
has some mis-aligned facts about MbUnit. The author of the cast has been
corrected and a blog post should strighten things out. However I know that this
sort of thing can upset folks when your putting every effort into making MbUnit
better. Let me therefore say that I am very thankful and fully appreicate
all the work that everyone is doing, let's hope some truths come out in
the wash. Andy
