Here's my experience: I installed Gallio 3.0.6 Build 763 on my XP Pro system, wrote some tests in Visual Studio 2008, fired up Icarus and clicked on run. The tests ran fine. I clicked on Debug icon. Nothing.
After clicking on Debug a few times I realized some application window deep in the z-order was being repainted. I minimized several applications. I clicked on Debug again. I noticed the 2nd instance of VS was being given focus and the app window repainted. This 2nd instance of VS was a separate project from the project I was debugging. I closed the 2nd instance of VS and clicked on Debug again. This time the VS instance with the project I was testing was repainted. I closed and restarted both VS and Icarus. I clicked on Debug again. The VS app window associated with the project I was testing was repainted. I toggled between IsolatedAppDomain and IsolatedProcess in Icarus. I clicked on Debug and then finally my initial breakpoint in my test code was hit.
