IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) at Berkeley is part of an international organization that allows each local chapter to send students of technical majors (engineering, all sciences, architecture, etc) for a PAID INTERNSHIP ABROAD. Although anyone can apply for these internships through IAESTE, members have a huge advantage and a much greater chance of getting one of these internships, which are located around the world in 82 different countries. By being an active member, you also gain valuable networking skills and chances to meet foreign interns who are currently working in the Bay Area through IAESTE.
