If you'd like to set up a study group for your class, MCB 103 for example, and don't know where to begin, why not post a message on the mcb forum, http://mcb.berkeley.edu/undergrad/forum/? If you're looking for a study group, use the mcb forum to find one. Some benefits of a study group: 1. Students can often benefit from peer-teaching, having someone in the same boat explain a concept you didn't understand. A classmate's perspective might be just what you need to understand something that you haven't been able to grasp. 2. Some students learn in a group what they cannot learn alone. 3. Built in structure and time set aside for studying - peer pressure! 4. You have a back up plan in case you are sick and can't make it to class. You've developed a network of peers.
