Join Mortar Board Honor Society! Gain recognition for your academic

Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college
seniors for outstanding
achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Since its
founding in 1918, the organization
has grown from the four founding chapters to 211 chapters with more
than 220,000 initiated members
across the nation. We invite and encourage you to apply for
membership in this highly respected
and nationally recognized organization.

To be considered for Mortar Board membership for the 2006-2007
academic year, you must have a
minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA, senior standing (90 + units) by the
beginning of fall 2006, and not be
graduating before December 2006. The application requires a resume
and a one-page personal
statement. Please review the application and informational cover
letter attached to this email.

Applications are due on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in 102 Sproul in the
Mortar Board mailbox. We look
