5.      Staff Research Position - UCSF

Hi,

Position available in leukemia research.
Staff Research Associate I,II, or III depending on experience.
Molecular genetics and epidemiology of childhood leukemia.  Lab
experience, and knowledge of cancer genetics preferred.  BS or BA in
Molecular Cell Biology or related necessary.  Please respond to the
email below to apply (just send a CV) or for more information.

Under supervision, incumbent will perform DNA extraction, PCR,
sequence and clone DNA and hybridize nucleic acids, and work with DNA
array data. He/she will also be responsible for ordering and
maintaining lab supplies. He/she will be trained in a variety of
molecular biology techniques and be involved in the analysis of
tissue samples (blood, bone marrow, extracted DNA) from cancer
epidemiology studies in particular childhood leukemia. He/she will
attend weekly laboratory meetings and report daily to supervisors.
