Engage with the community in social issues. Take the opportunity to serve. This next weekend, let the world change you and then you change the world. You are invited to immerse yourself in the dynamic community of South Berkeley by sleeping, eating, and serving. You will explore a variety of community issues such as politics, art as activism, environmental justice and poverty-reduction through serving various agencies and learning from community speakers. Come build friendships, have fun, explore social issues, and engage with the neighborhood community. The weekend costs only $20 for lodging, food, and transportation and scholarships are available.
