Basically someone who can extract large amounts of data, clean the data and migrate it to the new database. Position Responsibilities: · The CMDB Systems Analyst will help with the global implementation of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) project · The scope of the project will be divided into several phases by the following Configuration Item (CI) Class Groupings: Business Applications, Servers, Middleware, Databases, Storage, Network, Data Center, Batch Jobs, and Client Devices · The individual in this position will work very closely with the CI owners to collect, inspect, import, attribute and appropriately relate all of their CI records into the ServiceNow CMDB solution · Plans, implements, and documents CMDB procedures across multiple teams and projects · Keeps the CMDB updated and performs audits and reporting of variances · Help create training materials Required Qualifications: · ITIL Certification · 8+ years experience working with Business/Enterprise Applications, Servers (Physical & Virtual), Middleware, and Databases · Software configuration management and migration experience · 3+ years actively working with an ITSM tool such as: ServiceNow, BMC, CA or HP · Solid understanding of relational database concepts Preferred Qualifications: · Additional experience working with Storage, Network, Data Center, Batch Jobs, and Client Devices · Experience in developing change management / communication work products · Proficiency in shell scripting, spreadsheet creation, and SQL to expedite automated data import routines · Have excellent written, verbal, presentation, and documentation skills · Have the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders · Have strong analytic and decision-making abilities · Have the ability to collaborate with others and to facilitate diverse views to common working understanding Education: · Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or business administration Thanks & Regards, Nagesh | Work: 510-250-7616 | Fax: 510-578-1309 | Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
