Primary responsibilities are for the daily monitoring and maintenance of enterprise network security systems; and the ability to work with Legal, Privacy, Global Information Protection Assurance & Security, Incident Response and Networking professionals, is essential. Responsibilities: -Help integrate logs from security systems into the SIEM -Assist in the development of DLP alerts and IPS alerts to maximize information value from each system -Perform and review Firewall policy, workflow and system settings following established change process -Troubleshoot technical issues and systematically resolve complex networking and application issues -Respond to escalations from incident response team to provide technical expertise by coordination with external vendor support -Identify process improvements and document the process Required Skills/Experience: -5+ years Information Technology experience -4+ years security experience in maintenance administration role -Stateful and Application firewall experience -Experience configuring Cisco ASA (Adaptive Security Appliances) and IPS (intrusion prevention systems) -Advanced understanding of how firewall's, IPS, and proxy solutions work -Ability to analyze events, determine severity and appropriate recommended response -Background in IT infrastructure management and monitoring -Ability to provide 24/7 support on a rotation basis Bonus: -BS in IT or other technical discipline -Experience with Bluecoat and Checkpoint firewalls -Prior experience with network security design implementation Thanks & Regards, Nagesh | Work: 510-250-7616 | Fax: 510-578-1309 | Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
