Description

Immediate need for 5 Technical PM’s with Client in Hoffman Estates. Must
have strong AGILE experience. Someone who started off as a developer would
be good. Phone AND in-person interview required. Max 60/hour.

Extensive experience in an Agile/Rapid Development-like environment

There are four projects inflight for the Choice program w/in our Home
Services group. These projects will improve the customer experience for
items that require delivery and/or installation. The basic components
impacted are home delivery, installation, texting, handling of kits,
customer information updates.

The Choice projects require an End to End Project Manager. These projects
have different engineering efforts and dependencies. The projects have high
visibility within the company and the timelines are aggressive. The Project
Manager should be a self-starter who works independently in an ambiguous
environment.

Skills required include strong communication, planning, change and cost
control. The day to day activities will include – planning, daily/weekly
meetings with Engineering & QA for status, issue management (Issue Log &
Jira), business updates & status, PPM tool updates (worklenz), resource
time tracking, managing the integration between different company areas,
UAT planning & execution.

*Project Manager*

Responsible for managing of all aspects of one or more projects related to
the client web sites, with a particular focus on interfaces with Enterprise
(legacy) systems as well as selected third party vendor systems. He/she is
responsible for the providing project management leadership and
coordination throughout the Project Lifecycle from Requirements Definition
to Deployment. Responsible for working in highly matrixed organization
managing personnel assigned to deliver projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Establish and maintain a project work plan with Milestones, Deliverables,
Activities, Resource Assignments, Start / End Dates and Percent Complete.

· Establish and lead project team(s) required to deliver the project.

· Communicate project status, including: plans, accomplishments, issues,
and risks.

· Communicate project scope, goals and objectives to wider project team.

· Lead cross-functional teams through the planning though implementation
process.

· Manage project plan, timelines and deliverables.

· Provide direction and support to the project team.

· Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

· Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.

· Manage and implement all project changes and modifications to achieve
project deliverables.

· Manages project to budget as well as to timelines.

· Act with a sense of urgency in assessing business impacts of a situation
and acts accordingly. Escalates issues appropriately to resolve.

· Actively participate in and promote a matrixed organizational culture.

· Conduct post-mortem project evaluations and assessments of results.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; MBA or other
advanced degree preferred.

· 5-7 years of relevant experience with:

o Ecommerce and Retail experience preferred

o Software Development Lifecycle

o Project Management

· Strong planning and organizing skills.

· Experience managing multiple projects.

· Strong program management skills.

· Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and focus.

· Strong sense of urgency and follow through in addressing issues.

· Critical thinking and problem solving.

· Strong ability to influence, align and lead cross-functional teams.

· Proven ability of being able to influence peers and management in
decision making.

· Initiative - ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

· Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

· Conflict Management skills.

· Knowledge of WorkLenz or comparable enterprise project management
software tools
