*Python developer* *St Petersburg, FL* *6+ months* *Required Skills:* We are looking for a highly motivated Python developer who will be designing and developing software for large-scale cloud based services. Responsibilities include; Translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs, providing estimates for development efforts, implementing proof of concepts, prototypes and production-ready software and creating unit/acceptances tests. Also will be responsible for assisting Operations and Support staff in troubleshooting software issues. *Desired Skills:* - Experience using Python Packaging tools (PIP, Dist Utils, Distribute, Virtual Environment, etc..) - Demonstrable experiences with Python web frameworks (such as Heroku, Django, Tornado, etc.), REST APIs, Web services - Familiarity with data models & data structure design for object & methods definitions in python - Experience in conception and development of API and SSO-technologies - Knowledge of SqlAlchemy - Experience with using Oracle, Netezza and PostgreSQL databases - Experience using Messaging Bus (Active MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc) - Competence using Linux as primary development platform. - Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery or other UI frameworks - Solid understanding of Web development(HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript) in Python - Understanding of the Agile principles and ability to work well in agile teams (incl. pair-programming, Scrum, …) - Domain Knowledge of network, service orchestration, network automation, etc. - Demonstrated knowledge of Git, GitHub, BitBucket and Team City - Amazon Web Services Experience or other cloud based platform preferred - Strong motivation & drive to work in a challenging & rewarding environment - Degree in computer science or software engineering preferred - At least 4-5 years of software development experience building complex multi-tier IT applications - Ability to take complex algorithm designs and productize them in python - Willing to take initiative and work well alone as well in a team - Able to quickly ramp & adapt to new technologies *“Recruiting is made easier with JobPencil.com” * JobPencil.com – is the leading technology job portal which connects the Employers looking to hire highly talented professionals and the candidates looking for right opportunities and employers.
