*Java Web Developer *



·         Analyzes functional business applications and design
specifications. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts.

·         Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests,
debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required
product.

·         Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and
user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time and
improve efficiency



*Skills  required :*
Java, JEE (JSF 2.0, EJB 3.0, JDBC, Servlets, core Java) (required)
JPA 2.0 / Hibernate (required)
SQL Server 2008 and/or Oracle 10g/11g (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL) (required)
Primefaces (or any JSF framework) (preferred)
WebSphere (preferred)
JavaScript, jQuery, CSS (preferred)
FLEX (nice to have)
Python (nice to have)

*Responsibilities *

·         Design and build GUI front end using JSF and JavaScript based
custom components

·         Assist in the design and development of supporting database
modules

·         Design and implement security, logging and notification
frameworks for the application.

·         Integrate the application with the existing corporate wide
standards.

·         Ensure all technical and release artifacts are complete and
properly managed as required per the SDLC.

·         Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of
applications for the enterprises Internet/intranet sites.

·         Gathers and analyzes requirements.

·         Programs all or selected components of Web applications.

·         Documents components and applications.

·         Develops automation techniques to enable end-user content
publishing; programs, tests and implements mapped graphic images, forms and
HTML pages; handles client browser support inquiries; maintains links to
external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring up-to-date
information.

·         Researches, evaluates and recommends new Internet tools and
applications for use in assigned responsibilities. Required: Bachelor's
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or
equivalent work experience and 6+ years of IT work experience in software
development, installation and modification in an online environment.
