Rachel, The best flatbed scanner is the Creo iQsmart3. It handles flat art (prints) and film very nicely and the bed is 12x18". These are now sold through Kodak dealers:

I am trying to do some research on scanners. Has anyone recently purchased a new scanner? We currently use an Epson Expression 1640 and this scanner is a graphic art high quality scanner. The scanner is working well for us, but we are looking for an upgrade. If anyone could help me with my technology concern that would be fantastic. Thanks, RacheL Collier History San Jose _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to mcn-l, the listserv of the Museum Computer Network (http://www.mcn.edu) To post to this list, send messages to: mcn-l at mcn.edu To unsubscribe or change mcn-l delivery options visit: http://toronto.mediatrope.com/mailman/listinfo/mcn-l
