TIBBALS DIGITAL COLLECTIONS MANAGER The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida has a vacancy for its Tibbals Digital Collections Manager. This position is responsible for scanning, overseeing, and coordinating the web-based digital access to the circus collections of the Ringling Museum. REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and four years relevant experience or a combination of post high school education and relevant experience equal to eight years. Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of imaging and technology using digitization. Experience with archival descriptive cataloging. Knowledge of collections management and experience using imaging technology and/or digitizing, maintaining and retrieving digitized records. Training in handling paper documents and experience working with fragile objects. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions. Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Experienced in prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously. Fingerprinting to include a police background check is required along with a valid driver?s license.
