I am convinced that we have some content that would be of interest to some of our members via sms. It's not a big deal, but it could be fun. At the same time, I can't imagine figuring out how to set up something that would handle subscribing/unsubscribing/changing something this far outside of our expertise for this little return. I see my kids texting back and forth all the time, but nobody talks about subscribing to such a service (in my very limited window of experience).
1. Are other people using SMS to stay in touch with members/subscribers? What are your experiences? 2. Are there hosted services that will handle the sub/unsub/change issues, or do you make it part of your general email/membership experience? Thanks, ari
