FYI -- John MacColl of RLG Programs/OCLC has an interesting blog post that discusses a newly released UK report on orphan works (with a wonderful John LeCarre-like title: "In From the Cold"). He also mentions a new RLG Programs initiative for libraries and archives entitled "Introduce Balance in Rights Management".
