A very good book to help you think through your workflow processes for
color managment is Real World Color Management, 2nd Edition,
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0321267222/sr=1-17/qid=1154458982/ref=sr_1_17/103-1583561-2877455?ie=UTF8&s=books.
Its not difficult to implement color management into your workflow on
the studio end. But once you cross over to printing and dealing with
outside printers you can have your hands full.
All of the Real World series books are great for dealing with color
managment issues. They recently published Real World Image Sharpening
with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Real World Print Production (pulished today
actually), that hit on the production side of color management.
