A reminder to all MCN imaging, archiving, and technology professionals that
the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) Archiving 2013
Conference will take place in Washington, DC from April 2-5. The conference
program, list of short courses, and registration links can be found here:

Meetings will take place at the US National Archives and Records
Administration (NARA). The conference *registration deadline is March 29*and
due to government rules we will not be able to accept any onsite
registrations, so please register beforehand. A brief overview is below.

Hosted by the National Archives, please join us April 2-5, 2013 in
Washington, DC for a stimulating program that includes more than 30 oral
presentations and a host of interactive papers. Interactive papers are a
key feature of the conference, providing an opportunity for authors and
attendees to delve into issues in an informal setting. There are also

A morning of short courses covering a range of topics from archive curation
tools for your workflow, imaging performance and guidelines, emerging
archiving initiatives, and image standards and storage.****

** **New to the conference is an afternoon CURATEcamp, an ?unconference?
where participants are encouraged to define the agenda! The theme of this
CURATEcamp is *Digitized/Born Digital Together.*
