I am in love with my 2-sided Fujisu scanner. It is very fast and worth every penny. I don't use it for fragile material, but it works great and easy to use.

We are looking to purchase a pair of document scanners for a long-term project that will involve digitization of papers, books, physical labels etc in order to extract text, and so was wondering if anyone had hardware recommendations for flatbed scanners? We are less concerned about images and image quality and more concerned about ability to OCR text as well as to accommodate physical material of a number of different sizes. Thanks in advance and please feel free to contact me off list for additional details, Shyam SHYAM OBEROI Director of Technology & Digital Media Office: 214-922-1206 DMA Dallas Museum of Art | 1717 N.
