Here at www.noguchi.org our museum store is actually a Yahoo store. It does
not look like your typical Yahoo store because we hired someone who
specializes in setting up Yahoo stores.
Her name is Kacy Colson and you can reach her at
mailto:[email protected]
I don't know if this is a best practice, but it works for us. Yahoo takes a
cut out of everything we sell on-line, but we don't have to worry about
maintaining secure servers, etc.

Hope this helps,

Subject: Store web site inquiry

Dear mcn friends:
Any one out there able to recommend an ecommerce web developer/firm or care
to share best practices on how to set up a successful store component of a
museum web site?

We have had two sites that did not work. We are about to start working on
our third and I don't want to strike out.

Thank you for you help.
