We also use a Yahoo! store. The software for the Yahoo! store it was
developed by a computer science genius, Paul Graham, and it shows. Yahoo
stores are actually easy and powerful enough that we actually have never
hired a "professional" it set ours up. It doesn't look as good as the
Noguchi store, but it's not bad, especially for something one of our
merchandising staffers takes care of in just a few hours a week.
Out in Seattle you shouldn't have trouble finding talent to take care of
this for you, it you want it to look completely professional.

I don't know if this is a best practice, but it works for us. Yahoo takes a
cut out of everything we sell on-line, but we don't have to worry about
maintaining secure servers, etc.
