Hi Jeff,

I'm thinking in the $400-$1000 range.  This scanner will produce collections photography (not for publication quality) for the Registrar's Office and will likely get very heavy useage.  It needs to accommodate transparencies, slides, negatives, and prints.  Thanks to all of you for any recommendations you can share.
