Apologies for any cross-posting:
Several Metropolitan Detroit archives, libraries, museums,
universities and community colleges are proposing the development of a digital
library of resources that support curricula in "design". We are
seeking your advice in this user needs assessment.
The goals of the user needs assessment and evaluation component of this project
are:
1) To improve our understanding of the potential uses of a digital library of
objects highlighting "design movements";
2) To identify potential audiences;
3) To gather information on content, functionality, and interface design, at
this early design stage; and
4) To identify individuals interested in providing feedback on designs and
prototypes.
The institutions involved include the Center for Creative Studies, Cranbrook, Detroit Historical Museums, Detroit
Public Library, The Henry Ford, Lawrence Technological University, Meadow
Brook Hall, Oakland Community College, and Wayne State University.
We appreciate your participation in this survey. If you have any questions,
