Dear MCN members and friends, I am very pleased to announce a couple of new appointments within your MCN Board of Directors. Rhonda Winter, Indianapolis Museum of Art, has become the board's new Special Interest Group (SIG) Liaison--the designated voice of the SIGs in Board discussions. The SIG Liaison serves above all to carry SIG concerns to the board, and generally helps SIG matters run smoothly. Rob Lancefield, Davison Art Center, Wesleyan University, Board Secretary and our SIG Liaison since 2002(and former Standards SIG chair), will be on call to help make this transition a smooth one. Stepping down as SIG Liaison enables him to chair the Web Committee, on which he's served since 2004. Continuing to work with Rob in his new role on the Web Committee are: Christina DePaolo, website user training manager, and Richard Urban, mcn-l manager / database coordinator.
