Hi Tamsen, Based on the info i got, it's doesn't really matter - the "traditional" audio guide or mobile device based. The numbers are pretty similar. The interesting thing, in huge museums (like Louvre) , traditional devices are more popular, comparing with modern App (cellphone) based audioguides. I assume it's simpler to monetize traditional audioguides...
However, even in those museums, the audioguide covers just a tiny part of the exhibition. I could understand the technical problem with cellphone based guides, but in "traditional" (vendor based hardware) the only explanation i could find is the content availability, or in other words - budget. I want to understand if i am not missing something, or i do... Emil
