Hi MCN community,

The MCN Strategy SiG is hosting a webinar on Friday Oct 4 @ 2 PM EST on Human
Centered Design and Organizational Change. The webinar is open to all - please
share with your colleagues.

Human-centered design is well-established in the museum sector. And yet many of
us continue to struggle to collaborate across organizational silos and shift
entrenched ways of working. This webinar will look beyond individual HCD
activities like audience research, journey mapping, prototyping and testing
(though we’ll touch on those) to explore the bigger question of HCD and
organizational change.

Laura Mann (Frankly, Green + Webb USA) will discuss the impact of
Human-centered design on organizational change. She will be joined by Michelle
Grohe, Director of Interpretation, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Takeaways from the webinar:

How might human-centered design support organizational change? And why HCD
needs to be accompanied by organizational change to really deliver value in
museums

Why HCD has great potential to support organizational change in museum but the
process might look different than you think

Top tips for using a human-centered design process to support organizational
change
