Hello MCN-ers – I’m writing on behalf of AAM’s professional education network, EdCom (https://www.aam-us.org/professional-networks/education-committee). In this bizarre world COVID-19 thrust upon us, many museum educators are thinking differently, perhaps even overzealously, about our work. Because these ideas often have a digital component, I'm reaching out you.
A future EdCom Cares session will offer an opportunity to explore ideas that may have been considered unexpected or surprising or zany prior to the pandemic, but upon reflection might be an innovative new approach to our educational practice. Could you and your education teams help by sharing those ideas? Please share and fill out this short survey (https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5560881/Wacky-Ideas-in-Education) to tell us those zany ideas! The survey will be open until May 1. We want to hear from YOU! Many thanks in advance. Be safe, be kind, be well, Laura EdCom Membership Chair, AAM *********** Special Note: At this time, Joslyn Art Museum is closed to the public through the month of May. A reopening date will be announced later. For updates on the Museum's response to COVID-19, click here or discover Art from Afar: Joslyn’s Online Engagement Opportunities. I am working from home (M-F). You may reach me via text (preferred), FaceTime or phone at (402) 630-7764. Thank you for your continued support of Joslyn and patience during this challenging time. *********** Laura M Huntimer she / her /hers Director of School Programs & Interactive Media Joslyn Art Museum (402) 661-3847 (direct) #JOSLYNteachers #CreateJoslyn _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to mcn-l, the listserv of the Museum Computer Network (http://www.mcn.edu) To post to this list, send messages to: [email protected] To unsubscribe or change mcn-l delivery options visit: http://mcn.edu/mailman/listinfo/mcn-l The MCN-L archives can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
