Good point here. How can I say for sure?

Mmm. Maybe the situation for me is a bit different.
You see, once in a while MD waits for a _very_ long time while
connecting to the news server. Sometimes I get bored of this delay and
click on the AbortGet button *before* MD begins dloading. This, as I
dare to suppose, clears the interface but in the background (after
some time) MD dloads the article anyway.
In the lapse of time between the two actions (/AbortGet/ and /MD
finishing aborted dload by itself/) You can do real damage, i.e.
begin dloading of another article: the contents of this one will be
automatically replaced by the aborted one's (while the subject remain
intact). All dloaded messages after that will be 'shifted'by one, i.e.
so that every article has its right subject but the previously dloaded
one's contents.

*Correction:* This happens (quite) randomly. My ISP fault, IMHO.
Thanks for Your answer anyway. There's a good possibility that MD's
news counter is involved into this mess.
Any ideas, anyone? (Olli?)
*P.S.:*
Sorry, hope this is clearer. I was so focused on 'almost-correct
english' that I forgot 'being understandable' ;)
