I would try installing an > update to see if that fixes the problem. Well after getting a response on the last night, I sent out two new mails successfully, one typed in, the other from the address book. Of course the problem was with replies, and the email addresses in them may have been bad. 1.4.15 (06/30/01) is the version, BTW. The problem seems to have been a fluke. While I use YAM for mail, and MDII for news, I often forward news articles to friends with MDII, and have never had the problem on my own account.
