Actually I would try some place like www.onsale.com . Mostly refurbished
units.

Also, try Ebay (www.ebay.com) where people are selling their units, plus
selling disks. Sometimes you can get a good deal on 'em! (I remember
seeing a Sony EP-11 [close?] go for about $157, not including shipping
($8-$10). Kinda wish I'd bought it, but then again i've had to put my
numerous car repair bills on my credit card :-(

Keep on the lookout at places like Best Buy and Circuit City - if someone
returns a player (or somebody steals a portable - which is what happened
with me - I got the Bundle package w/o the extra discs and portable, but
got the (low-end JE320) player back in October for about $149.00.) Methinx
I should've waited and gotten a 520... but ah well.

Subject: MD: Cheap Player only question

Ok, I'm hooked. I find myself using my Sharp 722 recorder all the time for
recording music sessions. However, when I go out to record, I always start
with a blank disk (because I don't know in advance how much music I'm going
to record). Typically, I only wind up with 20-30 minutes of stuff I want
to keep. I would like to be able to dump that material to another
minidisk. So here's my question:

What are your recommendations for the best CHEAP player only for the
purposes of transferring from one MD to another?

Thanks in advance.

Paul
