MD: Differences between blank minidiscs...

Hi guys and gals,

 I bet it's not a simple topic to answer, but I wonder what are the real

differences
 between blank minidisc brands such as sony, basf, tdk, others...

 sound quality? reliability?, etc..

 Is it worth buying Sony instead of TDK for example?
