Ever since my parents bought me a JVC reciever, I'ver pretty much stuck
with them over the years. My first car receiver was a JVC, and my present
one is as well... (tape/CD yeah, yeah I know... but there just ISN'T a
combination MD/CD deck out there! [in my price range!] - in dash, not CD
changer) Feature for feature, besides the Compu-Link, I've just liked the
JVC stuff better.

The MD deck is Sony, a 320, but I regret not getting the capability of
stereo/mono, or any playing options (shuffle/repeat/etc.)

On a slightly different topic (*stepping on soapbox*), I'm rather annoyed
at some of the OEMs out there for not giving us better, quicker CD
player/changers/portables/ad nauseum, with the CD celebrating its, what, 16
years on the market? Things like extended buffers and pitch control are
just -now- hitting the market. What were they waiting for? I speak mainly
about mid-line CD players mostly... *Grrrrrrrr*

*ahem* ok... rant ended... :)

Steve <- got his first MD trade today... Sunscreem O3 DJ edition....

Agreed. ES line aside, I find Sony's home audio equipment (not portable)
to be near the bottom of the consumer brands (Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer,
H-K, etc.). Yamaha is near the top.
