After Sony had two attempts to get my R50 to read my TDK MD60 discs, they sent me a replacement unit R55. Although I would have preferred some communication/contact first, my bigger problem is that the MD60 problem still occurs with this unit and in my opinion the R55 seems to have a more muffled sound. 2 Questions. 1. Has anyone seen this TDK MD60 playback problem with the newer players?? (All discs play fine in my trusty old MZ1) 2. Anyone else notice a playback sound difference between the R50 and R55 besides the obvious lack of MEGA BASS??
