It just seemed that way considering that you mentioned a fault (not a
downside) and then made the comment about going with the Aiwa rather than
that.

I guess it was all a misunderstanding 3#-)

ooh no,  you misunderstood me,  the only downside of the 55 on my part is
the
battery life,  (I hardly ever title ;))

did I really say that it was a bad decision to purchase the 55 because of

I'm completely aware that any electronic, mechanic or other device might
suffer
from problems/imperfections during the manufacturing process, or suffer from
later, unexpected problems.
