If this *actually* is the case I wouldn't be able to play a single disc again
on my hi-fi system ... the only way you can get a signal out of a CD
transport to your DAC is digital....

There is 1000's of CD transports out there ... a move towards 
preventing a digital signal from being passed through a player's digital
outputs would endure a severe backlash.  And a major backward step
for audiophiles.

Any band/artist that allows their recording to be released on one of these 
new type discs (which none of us have actually seen yet) is committing
artistic suicide.   As in the words of the last poster " NO SALE " from
me either.

L8R   GC  (who thinks that if these new discs exist and make it to market, 
they won't take off - can someone say DIVX  :) :)
