Hi
The manual for my 702 says to use a "plug in power" mic, not a regular mic,
or else damage may occur. What constitutes a "plug in power" mic. I asked
at Radio Shack and they had never heard of it. My guess is that it
is an electret mic that expects power from the unit. Radio Shack has
electret mics, but they take a battery to supply their own power.
I just want an inexpensive mic for voice recordings. Can anyone explain
what mics I can use and how I can tell if a mic is suitable?
