After having inside knowledge of the "air bussiness", there is a very
remote possiblity that it may interfere with the aircrafts guidience
system during landing and takeoff.
But think about it, I've heard that you can use them on a lot of
transatlantic flights. If your going over the atlantic, that 0.1
Degree makes the difference between on course and upto 5 miles off.
But there main reason is selling you the entertainment. Your allowed
to use computer's which generate a hell of a lot more interference
then MD's!
So AFAICT it is just making you watch there advertising.
Do we have a list? Which is the real question.
