hi all,
i was thinking of getting myself a taping set-up. for microphones i want to
use the CSB (core-sounds binaureal) mics (the standard version, not low or
high end). also, i first thought of getting a DAT recorder, but because of
the price i have decided to go for MD after all. now, before i really
purchase this, i really would like to know if any1 here already has
experience with this set-up, and if so, is it any good? the equipment i was
thinking of buying was (as mentioned) the CSB and a SONY MZ-R50. i'm not
really a crack on MD equipment, so maybe someone could suggest a better deck
than the MZ-R50? what's the exact difference between the R35 and the R50
anyway, besides the fact that the 50 is smaller? looking at the manual, the
50 also has less recording/play time...
so, if you know a better deck (size is not the main issue with the deck., as
long as it's a portable:-), i.e. it won't do if i have to carry a suitcase
to transport the thing.. the quality matters, and the features.) then i'd
really appreciate all the help i can get.
