I'm on my 3rd zip drive (not problems with the drive) sold the first one to a friend (SCSI ZIP 100) Still using the second and third one one is a 100 the other is a new 250 never had a problem with any of them.. the one I sold my buddy is still using... The reports I read about the click of death, say that it was fixed within the first year of the drives production... Yep, It's only in certain drives, and if you buy an Iomage zip-drive, then they'll suply a new disk and/or drive whenever you encounter CoD, even if you're 5 years out of warenty, doesn't matter. I've got a 100Mb SCSI Zip, and 12 disks, haven't had a single problem with any of 'm.
