Hi all,
Firstly, please forgive me for this off-topic post, but you guys are
my best resource for useful info.
I've recently downloaded Caldera Linux and am in the process of
downloading Linux Mandrake (both downloads being about 600-
630megs :-( A marathon job on a 50Kbps link.
Can any of you peeps who have converted to Linux, know much
about any versions, or anything which may help me please email
it to me. I know little about Linux except it was developed by a
bunch of Finnish geeks with no life, allegedly, who'll beat down my
front door if I need tech support. "Feenland?" -- Alan Davies ad,
for Abbey National.
And also that a real Linux use is expected to compile his own OS
kernel [Gaz gets scared here, but thinks he can cope]
