Lo All :)

I've just got my hands on a mini disc deck (Sony MDS-JE330) and portable

player (MZ-E33), so far I've loving it ...way cool definetly every music

lover should have one. Anyway, I just wanted to ask a simple question.
Right now I'm using AA alkaline batteries but I hate having to keep on
buying
batteries so I'm thinking of getting the AC powercharger and then buying

the Ni-MH type batteries and recharging them (either the NH-MDAA or
NH-14WM).
What I was wondering is how good are rechargable
batteries nowerdays? , my friend used to use em ages ago and says that
they died after a couple of recharges? true? . Are they worth gettting?,
how
many recharges would you get from them?. Another friend said that they
had problems cause of the memory, such as if u recharged them when they
were half empty they would think that they were dead and recharge and
only allow you to use 1/2 the battery? , sounds like alot of bs to me
but I want to ask before i shell out for new adaptor.

Also one more question, people from Sydney - do you know anywhere which
sells cheap blank Mini discs? like perhaps in a bundle like 20 for some
cheap price ? . Or does anyone in New York know a cheap place ? , my
sister's going to be travelling through there soon.

many thanks for any insights :)

regards

Orfeo
