Hi...
I just got my fiirst pre-rec md today at best buy (if you must now, it's the
motion picture soundtrack for "Singles"...i also have the CD...) If any of
you are considering getting pre-recs, here are the pros/cons....
pro...
you get a cool pic of the cover on the disc
the tracklisting is also on the back of the disc
the cases look supre-cool (what with the finger areas....)
most are cheaper that CDs (i got mine for $9.99 USD [for you brits, that's
about 6])
con...
ATRAC might ruin the sound quality if it's a really old version
the cases aren't the same size as the blanks (unless you get those fancy
studio-grade blanks)...the box i use to hyold my mds was jst 2 mm too small
everything is teeny-tiny shrunk down...
I'll probably buy some more pre-recs...if only for their collectors'
value...
