my name is patrick and i'm a dj living in new jersey. i've used MD since the MZ-R3. i've got a ton of MD's, a Sony JB920, the Denon 2300R, an AM-F70, and more. i "service" some bars/clubs in NYC and in South Carolina w/ music. they all use VHS-HiFi VCR's w/ tapes i supply them, and the way i do it is through my cable!! i have a program called http://www.musicchoice.com on my local cable system in NJ it's pretty cool if you love music (like me) and like to make your own MD's (like me) i can record two ways, EP or SP mode - the EP mode has less songs (a little over 2 hrs/30-35 songs) vs the EP/6hr.....the dynamic range diminishes somewhat on the EP tape but the SP mode tapes are of excellent quality!! when i record EP mode i run it through a mixer withemphasis on bass/treble.....i find the vhs system better than "live" recording as i can pop in a tape and later on when i review it any songs i already have i can just fastforwards through, and it sounds great! the tape also shows song title/artist/album/label for labeling MD's!! these guys are all my friends and i charge them practically nothing! i just wanted to extend this to my friends out there in the MD community. if you're tired of asking your friends if you can borrow their cd collection so you can pilfer it or you dont have readily available access to music this could be your answer! i also have a TON of mono MD's to unload..... ..if you are interested email me privately @ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
