The first time I listened to it, I didn't hear it at all. I bought some
better speakers this afternoon for my PC so I thought I'd try it again. It
definitely is there but it's right at the limit of my hearing. I can
partially hear it, and partially 'sense' it.
I suspect that the average 'cheapie' PC speakers won't come close to
reproducing that sound at all.
I'd really love to hear what it is if you find out. The good thing is that
the frequency is good and high so if you get a shotgun mic or some other
directional 'sensor,' it should be easy to find it. Heck, if you show up
with a bunch of equipment, some nosy neighbour will probably come out and be
able to tell you. :-)
