Hey all --
I'm getting a "disc error" message from my AM-F70 no matter what I do. I
tried the magic "reset" button, four varieties of blank disc and even a
prerecorded, and nada. I listen closely and there's a series of faint
whirrings and clickings like it wants to start up, but nothing doing. Does
anybody know of any DIY fixes, or barring that, a good repair option in
NYC? I'd rather not send away for repairs.
