Oh Great Ones,
Can any of you help me with a problem I am having....my MZ-R50 has
trouble opening to remove the disk from the player. The door itself
closes fine and the open switch seems to slide smoothly and completely.
But often after playing a disc the open switch will not release the door.
The only thing I've been able to do is press down on the hatchtop near
the hinge while the disc is spinning down and somehow it makes it so that
when I slide the open switch after doing this it will eventually open
after a try or two. Also the screws don't seem to be loose on the
casing....HELP my disks are being held hostage.
